I guess everyone's computer is broke or the quads are running good. It's been kinda slow in here lately. What gives? I think that all the quads are just kickin a$$ and no one is having any problems!!!

It's up around 100 degrees here in Tulsa, the quads tend to be put to rest while we play on the waverunners!! It's even slow at one of the local MX tracks, rumors are they might close down because not enough bikes and quads are showing up to race. When it gets this hot and humid, who in the hell wants to race anyway!!

Me!!!! Hey Brian, it is me, Chris. If I could keep a bike togethor, I would race every day. Looks like my next race bike will be a 400EX, I think I might retire the R. I am having the frame powdercoated as we speak, and after I sell it, I think i will get a DALE! I still want top ride one first though. Wish we had a decent dealer around here. Oh well.

Chris, I would stick with the R if I was you. They are so easy to work on and their power to weight ratio is second to none with the HP numbers we are producing!! I'm still waiting on the PRP frame, swingarm, PEP/ZPS shocks and Laeger Protrax front end!! I called Baldwin the other day to get an update on the Laeger and he said, "should be any day but you never know with Laeger."

You really think the power to weight ratio is that much better on the R than on your dale, that you would give up traction, reliability, and age of the bike? I have to look into the future of the sport, and I think it is going to be 4-stroke.

Well when the R weighs only 328 pounds and pumps out around 50 HP with a 310 ESR motor, yes it definitely has the best power to weight ratio of anything out there. I'm not disagreeing with about the 4 strokes, they are coming on strong!!

Yeah, I would like to stay under 265 cc and also getting traction to the ground is an issue. I don't know. I still think I will sell the R and buy/build a 4-stroke. Who knows.
