How does a canninbal stack up to a z does it just crush the z in everything.

 

Met my first Z last weekend he owned a 400ex he said that it pulled harder than his honda. he has had his Z for a month he let me ride it around and he rode mine. it was flat ground with some whopps. I thought

1. it didn't handle the whopps as well as a cannondale. suspenion seemed to soft. I was bounceing everywhere.
2. it seemed to bogg down when going through sharpe courners.
3. I had to used 1-4 gear up and down alot where the cannondale i'm allways in 3-4 gear. cannondale has alot more torque..
4. when turning the cannondale grips better due to the holeshot tires
5. the z is not nearly as loud as the cannondale.
6. z feels like a mod 400ex but looks like a raptor.
7. for the price z's are avg. is $5800
8. you can get a 02 cannibal for $6300

I would say ride both and decide that is the only why
oh yeah when we where done rideing the z guy told me if I would trade bikes with him.

 

You should also consider how important reverse would be to you.

No it doesn't. The Z is more plush and won't wear you down at all. The C-Dales edge grows the harder the machines are pushed. The Z is a good deal. The Dale requires more TLC, but you are rewarded for it w/ exceptional performance...

 

One last thing which of the 2 has the most top-end power

I run Dunlops on both quads. The stock Holeshots on the Dale are much taller then the Dunlops that come on the Z even though there both 20 inches tall. The Dale will have about 5mph on the Z. With Dunlops on both it is much closer in top end mph.. The Dale is still quicker and faster there is no doubt about it...

 

Man I got a Cannibal with a Big Gun pipe and the Moto 440 mapping IT IS A HANDFUL. I have my own little track and I'm a lot faster on my tricked-out Blaster simply because it is a lot more controllable. It isn't as over-whelming, obviously, and there is just less concern stabbing it wide-open out of corners all the way to the jumps, down the straights ripping through the gears. If and when I get to a level capable of COMFORTABLY handling that crazy Cannonbeast, there's no doubt I'll turn in better lap times.
Dirt Wheels (I think) just had a shoot-out and except for their "top riders", the better times were on the Z.
I'll never get rid of my C-Dale, but I'd love to have a Z too. So if I were you, I'd buy both.

 

The first and foremost thing to remember is to take what "Dirt Wheels" said with a grain of salt. They always steer towards the machine whos company has the most money [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-disgusted.gif[/img]. I have one of each, and I say it all depends on how you ride. If you are agressive, buy the Dale and dont look back. (besides to stop and wait on the guy on the Z [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]). If you just want to trail ride, with the occasional small jump, and you need reverse, buy the Z. It has enough power for most people. The suspension is more plush than the Dale at slow speeds, but doesn't compare when things get rough.

If you buy the Dale, your arms will be really sore at first. This is caused from the death grip you will have on the bars from the acceleration. The power hits hard, and it keeps pulling until you shift, and it does this through every gear.

If you buy the Z, you will be impressed with the overall performance of the macine. Once you have it mastered, you will be looking for more power. When you get it souped up to compare with the Dale, It will be louder than the stock Dale. But hey, you can always say that you've got reverse!
