Round 2 of the BUCCS series
#1
Saturday me and a buddy went out to Uhrichsville, Ohio for round 2 of the Buddy up Cross Country series. We took a 3rd place finish in the novice class.
I started the race on the speed and was flipped in the 3rd corner of the motocross track. Once I got going I started working my way back through the pack of riders. There were 17 teams in are class. The race was a 3 hour race on a 8+ mile long course. As the race went on the track work up nice and the dale started to show the 400ex and 250r riders just how fast it was. At one pick a guy on a 250r got by me in the woods, then we came out on the back section of the motocross course. He took a corner a little wide and opened a small window for me to pass on the inside. Needless to say I lit him up. Just aside note I'm a woods racer and I don't like motocross at all and am no that good at it, but I do know how to corner.
By teammate rides a blaster and we are currently in 2nd or 3rd. We had a 4th place finish at the first race.
If anybody is interested in the the series or the last race check out www.buccs.tv
They have not posted the results yet to round 2 or the points that's why I was guess on a 2nd or 3rd place in the points. Can't wait until the next one.
No problems with the cannondale unless you can say pulling a handlebar mount out do to flipping is a problem or keeping the front from pointing skyward.
I justed wanted to update everyone on my past weekend of racing.

2 local D-11 boys (Craig Wilson & Joe Kish) beat Johnny Gallagher and Jared Gruca by a 1 1/2 mins.
Check out there website for all the results and point standings. http://www.buccs.tv/BUCCS/frameset.htm
I'm currently in 3rd place 2 points out of second.
Hope to see you there. Stop over and say hi I'll be the one on the cannondale with a blaster as my team mate.

That's what we were thinking. The thing not to many people know is the teammate's got a 240 kit in it and he is one heck of a rider. Plus for woods racing the blaster can hold it's own as long as it's tight in the woods do to the fact it is small, narrow, and light.
