If none of what everyone said try this. Get on there with vice grips really tight. Tap on the head of the bolt and push in towards the engine while you're tapping on the head of the bolt and turning. This makes the threads catch a little more. Works all the time for me..

I did the same thing I striped the trany drain bolt I used some big vice grips worked pretty good. I ordered a new bolt they said they they are on back order and that alot of people where striping them. also has anyone that has changed there oil have copper fileings on there bolt thread??????

had lotsa crap for the first two oil changes . though since it's ben all good no strippers or leaks . YET

If you are referring to copper colored specks on the threads- that's anti-sieze applied at the factory. I did have a good bit of metal slivers, also. It's normal on a new motor.
