Hey I also saw that new mw bike and it rips. I saw it at E-z ride when I picked up my speed. The guy started it and rode it a little in the parking lot but he told me that it was more powerful than the dirt bike under it, i think the e440, with the same map as the new dirt bike.

I have been told from a very reliable sorce that all the un sold mx dirt bikes were called back about a month ago to have some hop ups
done to them.They are claming 52 rw horse power on them now.
I watch a guy 200lbs on it this weekend and he couldnt keep the front down.I also saw the old dual sport bike last weekend and it didnt come close to the same power as the new one.I beleve they ansered the cfr and
the yzf.

 

Special- we have dynoed so many different quads. Over 35 and these are built to the hilt. I have past 50 RW and it was not easy. Many different dynos give higher numbers. The one we use gives real world numbers. A dale gets 36 stock, 37.5 piped and mapped. A raptor gets 34 and piped/jetted/no airbox 36-40. The numbers the mags claim. I would like to see.......If you have a honest 40 hp you are fast!!!!, 45 is real fast!!! and over 50 is aheck of ride.

 

You guys are talking apples and oranges. Big #is measured at the crank little #one is measured at the rear wheel. New x440 is more powerfull than crf450 and yz450. C'dale made shure of this.

 

So what you are saying is a canable gets 36 hp and a moto gets 37.5 hp.

and canondale comes out with a stock 440 motor that has more power.

Yodaddy- Different slip-ons vs full exhaust, correct and incorrect jetting. There are alot of raptor exhaust out there.

I have seen a few cam changes that result in a 2 hp gain. All and all 2 hp is fairly substansial gain. Maybe in a controlled air conditioned dyno room with slick and a little majic you can get 50hp out of a piped raptor, or 7 more hp from a remap and piped cannon, but i have not seen it yet.


Just a thought here- trinity says there pipe is 50hp jetted/airbox, Sparks CT the same thing

Trinity says there 686 is 63 hp, stock raptor 34. You get 16 hp by letting it breathe and exhale. Totally go thru the motor, bore/port/polish/cam/springs/hi-comp piston and only pick up 13 MORE hp.
