Cannondale Update - From Joe & Scott Montgomery
#21
Thanks for the update, thats great news. I saw you profile says your in Sedona Arizona? Is that true? If so I was wondering if you guys do any testing or riding in Arizona. I'm interested in a new cannondale but would like to "look under the hood" so to speak. Maybe see someone take the plastic off and see where the spark plug is and if it is tough to get too, and things like that. The dealers around town seem to be lacking. Plus a test ride in Arizona is impossible!

Don't expect a big bore for a while.
Considering this is not Honda, Bombardier, Yamaha, etc, they don't have a huge pool of engines and manufacturing facilities to pull from.
They need to recoup some of their expenses from their current engine design before going and designing another from scratch.
Engine development from scratch is a HUGE process - don't expect it to happen overnight, or even soon....

I gotta print this out. It's unheard of. It's historic. I tkink someone must've paid attention in their "Public Relations" classes. No, I think someone is GIVING lessons in P.R. Just to have taken time out to get on here and let us know your listening, and to give us some insight on some C-Dale plans. I can't express the gratification.
Expensive quads? No. It appears we're getting what we paid for. And then some.

I won't be able to ride my DS for awhile. After seeing this thread & how C'Dale speaks with their customers I was so shocked I fell out of my chair & hurt myself.
I thought about a C'dale but it seemed too racy & to unproven, kinda wish I would have now....
A big bore C'Dale, Things that make ya go hmmm......
