Cannondale Update - From Joe & Scott Montgomery

i wasn't going to respond to this thread because i do not currently own a c-dale, but i was impressed (to say the least) with the factory response from c-dale to this site. my number one choice for a new quad was the new z400, with the c-dale a close second. after seeing what a real american company is made of i think i will invest in an american product for once and be confident i am not settling for second best. cannondale is a first rate company that takes care of thier customers. great job c-dale,

I agree with airtimehocutt. I am very impressed with the folks at C'Dale for taking an interest in what is said on this forum, and equally important is the fact that they are willing to take the time to contribute. This kind of support and interest in what their customers think and want is un-heard of in the industry. Do you think that Honda would ever visit this forum? If they did maybe they would get a clue that they are loosing their devoted followers do to their lack of concern for what their public wants, namely a new High Performance Sport Quad. C'Dale seams to be genuinely interested in what the people of this sport want, and ready to give it to them. I only wish that I had realized that there was a dealer in my area before I bought my Raptor. Not because I'm not happy with my Raptor, but because this kind of interest and concern being expressed by a manufacture really impresses me. This is the type of company that I want to do business with! A few years from now, when it is time to get rid of the Raptor, I think that there will be a C'Dale taking its place. Well-done C'Dale!

Very exciting news, I've been waiting for a Super Motard from C-Dale, will it be a racing version or street legal? For those not familiar with 'Motards, they're a hybred version of a dirt bike and a canyon carving street bike. It's been the rage in Europe for some years but actually started back in the U.S in the early 80's then died off.
They use wide 17" wheels, DOT tires or road racing slicks, large diameter front disc and calipers, lowered suspension, and lights and signals for street use.

Biggerisbetter,
What are you doing on this site? I finally traded the DS for the Speed this last weekened. I was nervous at first but after riding the dale it is the best bike I have ever been on. I have never had such quick throttle response. I'll see you at roost fest. Just look for Rob's DS.

I'm everwhere man! ha ha.
Glad to see you got what you wanted, Did you have to trade your wheels and tires also? I want those. I hope you got what you wanted out of your DS. I'm sure it is a hole different world on the C'dale. Can't wait to see what you have in-store for it!
I hope the C'dale boyZ can appreciate what you are going to do to that thing!! LOL!
Biggerisbetter.
P.S. still can't PM you.

Has Cannondale ever considered doing something like this.
I figure with the lower center of gravity from laid down engine and the huge improvement in ergonomics, Cannondales would be basically untouchable even against dirt bike powered aftermarket chassis quads.
