heel gards

i see alot of people running with out heel gards can i pull mine off with out hurting the quad the rear fenders look weak with out them .
if your running with out them tell me . i think they look weird.
but if it there for a reason i can get used to it.

They're just there to keep you from running over your legs. The heal gaurds don't support the fenders... if anything, the fender holds the heal gaurd up. I ran mine w/o the gaurds and it does look MUCH better, but after runnin over my leg during practice one day, I bolted them back up. Just to help the looks a little, I trimmed a lot of the side of the gaurds off so they didn't flare out the sides so much and it doesn't look to bad now.

I have a blaze and I also took them off and threw them away. Problem is I now have a broken fender from a muddy race. You can take the guard off just make sure you keep the portion that goes from the subframe to the fender. I have seen two cannondales with broken fenders from removeing all.

ok i pulled them off and 1st lap busted a legg ripped my foot right off
lol oh i guess i never told no one im a amputee so no pain but man did i freak people out at the track foot riped off and im mad as he(( coming off the track lol http://dodgetrucks.org/photopost/data/44960070-med.JPG
