I along with owners of every other ATV brand out there have had a few problems along the way. I was hoping to hear from a bunch of Cannondale owners with the problems they have had and what they or the dealer has done to fix them. This is not meant to be a %itch forum, just hopefully some useful information for other owners. Every brand has problems....

Mine--02' Blaze

1. Dont' take the subframe to fender brackets off--fenders break.
2. Loose ECU wire at the fuel pressure regulator bolt.
3. Fuel filter needs to be changed often---5 hours is a good rule--- 13 hrs for me and the bike would only idle. I like that you can see through i, but it doesn't matter when it only lasts a short period of time.
4. Fuel cap doesn't fit well--Needs a re-design
5. FMF exhaust header to Silencer spring perch---both ripped threw---yes ripped... Constant spring replacement. Round the spring perch corners
6. Tie rods and headstay for the stem--- Needs grease constantly. Everyone powerwashes their bike---
7. Axle nut comes loose. Even when it is torqued properly.
8. Redisgn---On the Trans filter--Too difcult.
9. Clutch cover gasket swell---First time I took it off it was about 10 mm to long to go back in.
10. Bolt torque---The use of never-sieze and locktight would help alot. Check the bolts EVRYWHERE often.

I have had Excellent help from my dealer R&S-Kyle, QuadSource and Cannondale as far as getting parts.

1. Messed up lower A arm hole drilled wrong by C-Dale
Fix...New frame or Moto Arms to adust camber..Took the Arms w/ brake lines and tie rods....Freee
2. Toaster falls apart inside
Fix...Stripped allens. They were to tight. Threw it away. New exhaust was coming anyway..
3. My dealer kicks ****, Plaza Cycle, and so does C-Dale's customer service..

Sporadic stalling and dead battery on first 2 rides. After the first 2 rides, the battery never died again, but the stalling continued. It would stall about once or twice an hour, not to the point I couldn't ride it.

It was fixed by replacing the stator because of cut wires exactly as reported in one of the bulletins. Replaced under warranty- free of charge.

I did have to adjust the clutch arm position(cable clutch) as soon as I got it. This was supposed to be checked/set by the dealer during setup.

Other than those, no problems. I'm very, very satisfied with the customer service I've recieved at the dealers and by tech support from Cannondale. The only thing I could say slightly negative about it is the motor noise, but I knew about that when I bought it! That's not enough to keep me away from all the things the quad and the company have to offer!!

"Big Props" to Cannondale as one of our "peeps" might say!!LOL!!!

that's an amazing number of hours on one filter paul!! LOL and I thought 10-15 hours between changes was enough. here's a thread that has some fuel filter info.

My Problems:

1. Leaking anti-freeze from the head gasket sent back replaced gaskets.

2. Leaking anti-freeze from the water pump seal sent back for replacement gaskets.

3. Now it is making a wierd grunting noise at mid rpms. I am taking it back in for 25 hr service will have it addressed then.

Other than that I love the quad. I am to used to riding it now. Yeah the filters suck I went to napa for mine got 1/2 dozen fuel filters so I didn't have to go back any time soon. Also K&P Oil filter from R&S works perfect. It is $65 though.
