i have seen the particular bike ez-ride is talking about. my son rides a cannibal for him. before he received this bike he was taking the e 440 to all the tracks and it was raced a couple of times also. this bike definately has more power. kip himself rode the bike in its first race and couldnt keep the front end on the ground [ he broke his collar bone in that race ] something is different, i dont know what but you can tell a big difference between the two bikes.

I doubt Cannondale is far enough along to feel like they need to design a new motor, so I'm sure what ever this mysterious "difference" is, it will probably be interchangable (i.e. Cams or something along those lines)... hopefully. I would sure love to get a big HP boost out of my C-dale. Not that I really need it, but it's always fun to know that it's there .

You know what I mean... you line up next to that piped Raptor in a drag race, than yall take off and end up being side by side. He gives you a little glance thinkin, "those Dales aren't that fast." and then he learns you were only half throttle . Pin the throttle and let the Raptor rider get a good look at the back of your quad .

Hehe, nothing against Raptor riders... but that "competition" is always there.

I don't know about the cam deal, but I talked to my mechanic and he said he has a cannondale jug that he is playing with. His comment was 'I can see a lot of room to play with.

OK, Mark @ Cannondale made this commet to me.

"We machined the motor to allow a better path for the piston and in returned got 10+- hp out of it. Only other mods was pipe & mapping. All motors are being prep that way now."

Sounds like we are going to have all the HP that we need. It's just a matter of using it and holding on.
