Swaping shocks ?

I have a new set of front MOTO shocks.Will it hirt anything to bolt them on to the stock speed front end?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I think the moto shock are longer. If that is the case bolting them up to a stock speed is a bad idea unless you get the extended a-arms like the moto or you can shim the moto shock a little to reduce the total travel. I have a buddy that put his elka front shocks off a 400ex on a stock speed and he had to shim them becuase the longer travel. He found out this because he said something to elka about putting them on it.

They defantly are longer.Im going to waite till rest of the parts come in.I have the moto a-arms and break lines im just waiting for the stering stem and tie ros and ends.
