I should have left it retired,LOL.

I pulled it out the shed after 6 months and holy cow every thing was stiff(clutc,thumb throtal & stering).It worked the heck out of me.
Expecially after not riding in 3 weeks.

1st moto I got last place hole shot with a good gate pick.There were 11 of us racing I got up to sixth by the last lap.I had another Ex right in front me for the last 2 laps just couldnt get around him.

In the 2nd moto I got a ninth place hole shot moved up to seventh
and got into a battle with Josh on the moto,He caught me after being taking out over the firts jump and pased me pretty quick then he got bumped off the track again and I got pased him again this time I was really holding my line to hold him back.I did good for a lap but spun a 180 right in front him in the corner before the finish line.I thought for shure he was going to flatten me but he got passed me clean,buy that time I was wiped that bike worked the pi$$ out of me,I looked backed and saw I had a comfortable 8th[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-blush.gif[/img] and limped to the checker.

Riding the ex again was a good experence.Now I realy apreaciate my dale.It felt like I was in the wrong gear the whole race and it just felt dead,and my dale out handles the ex big time.Today I feel like
i got my @$$ kicked by a football team.

Dude I could have done great last night then. Now I'm regreeting not going last night. I gotta give you credit for bring out the 400, I could never race a Banshee again after the dale. You should tell your speed that you are sorry for leaving it home and embarrising youself at a race like that.

bill won the first moto anda fast 250r won the second. i think it was mrp that post here too. mrp if that was you why didnt you come over and talk to us we are easy to find,just look for all the dales. josh had some bad luck his first time out on the moto. he was running third the first moto and pulling hard when he stalled in a corner and the battery was low so the moto wouldnt start. one of the track quads pulled him off and he finished second to last. the second moto he was second out of the hole and landed on jason fuller on the first jump. he was hanging on for dear life, got the quad started up again and gained five positions. he went to pass another quad in a corner and got bumped off the track so he finished seventh overall. there were some fast quads there last night. i think some are trying to intimidate josh beacuse of his age and riding a moto but it wont happen no more. if they want to play bumper cars we can play too. i guarantee josh will fight for his position from now on and not let them push him around. i wasnt close enough to see it but josh's sponser said a 400ex took josh out on purpose in the second moto. i wont tolerate that again. racing is racing and shi? happens but taking someone out on purpose is a low life thing to do. we will be back in three weeks and will be ready for them. i plan on taking josh there to practice a couple times before the next race so he can get real used to the track on the moto and also scope the track out real good for passing points. josh makes most his passes on the jumps because most of them there wont hit the jumps as hard as he does. the boy just loves to fly in the air. he's loosing a little time in the whoops so we are gonna work on them too. we also are gonna change up the suspension settings, it was softened up for lorettas and also had the blaze map in it for lorettas. kip changed the map back to the moto this morning and we put a new set of holeshots on yesterday and have a set of turf tamers coming so we can switch tires for different tracks. he gets a little more seat time on it and we make the changes we need to we will be ready next race. efg, have you went to hammond yet, we are going to monster mountian this weekend. well gotta go see ya'll at the races

Yeah ,i practiced at hammond last night.they got some weird tabletops,But I love the step up jumps.

 

markvette- Yea that was me. I wasnt really sure if yall were there until I talked to your son at the gate before the second moto and realized it was him. After the race we packed up quickly to head over to Texas to race. Tell your son he had a really good jump out the gate the second moto but to stay on the gas and he will be grabbing the holeshot. And also tell him not to be intimidated by other riders and not to take any crap from anyone trying to take him out on purpose.

I under estimated the guy on the #70 400ex the first moto (he is a talented rider and in great shape). I am told he rides there a good bit. I felt like I was going to have a heart attack after each moto because I am so out of shape. Taking a three week lay off before Lorreta Lynns killed my stamina. (Maybe it was getting married that did it) but anyway I will get it back soon.

i dont know what happened to josh and the holeshot, he had taken the last 5 including the last 2 racesthere and that was on the cannibal. he is learning with every race and the moto is a lot different thao the cannibal. are you going to monster mointian this weekend ? how did you do in texas ? bill on the yellow ex is fast but not too nice a guy. i went over and talked to him before the races and all he wanted to do was trash talk the dales. i started to tell him that his honda was a piece of crap as far as i am concerned but im not that type of person and i dont feel that way anyhow. next time come by and bs with us

 

markvette- I never talked to him( Bill) but my friend Bobby Beach said after the first moto he was saying it was getting boring winning every time he raced there. I wasnt sure if Bobby was just telling me this to make me mad but it sounds like it may be true. I wonder if he got bored losing the second moto giving me first place and taking away his winning streak. You know people who knocks on other peoples quads are just jealous deep down. That guy has a nice 400ex and he is just jealous someone else besides him has something nice also. Forget about him.

My funds for racing are getting really low (mainly from attending all the GNC races) but I think I wouldnt mind going broke to go to Monster Mountain to shut a certain person up! So I will probably be there.

I got third in the Pro class. Johnny Hale took first place and a friend of mine Jarred got second. The second moto got rained out. It kinda sucked too since we drove all night after Rock Hill, getting no sleep, to have it rained out.

Will you be at Fernwood Wed. night? I think I am going to there and practice. If I dont go to Monster Mountain I am going to Fernwood Friday and West Monroe Sat. and Sun. to practice. I might even go back to Rock Hill Thursday.

 

know whqat you mean about the low funds. we are going to try and make fernwood wednesday, i will have to let you know later, this weekend is gonna be a expensive trip to monster mountian with 2 nights in a motel and everything else but we will try. yea i want to shut that guy up too. give josh a little more seat time on the moto and he will be knocking on bills back door. we are going to try and practice rock hill a couple of times before the next race so we can be as ready as we can be. talk to you later
