cap i knew you would come up with an excuse. fact
is we won. as far as the dude that got jumped on, he bragged that he pulled over in front of my son to block. actually i did make one comment that i shouldnt. i apoligize to alabama riders, i didnt mean to judge all of you from one incident. also i think the rider that done this was not from alabama. everybody knows if your a lapped rider you get your a$$ out of the way for the leaders and you sure as hell dont block. another fact he caused the whole incident so my son has nothing to feel bad about. he done nothing wrong but race. unlike you we puy our money where our mouth is, we showed up and we won. so you can come up with all the crap you want, like the old saying the best defense is a good offense. i talked to the track owner and he said he had a better showing than usual and he only expected 300 bikes and there were 500. im done with you again. why dont you do like you said a week ago and go back to the honda forum { they probably dont want you there either ] oh another thing i forgot to mention our 440x dirt bike rider smoked all competition in both motos in te 250 c class so cannondale brought 2 first place trophys home yesteday. oh another thing a local rider from here ran second in the 2 stroke quad class too.

<< everybody knows if your a lapped rider you get your a$$ out of the way for the leaders and you sure as hell dont block. >>

Even by your own statement, the two strokes went off the gate first.

Why should the two stroke rider let him by just to be a problem of his own later in the race??

When two classes are on the track at the same time, the class that left first takes precedence over the second class. Universal rule of motocross, or any other motorsport.

I take it that guys haven't raced all that long. You will learn in time, especially after someone comes along and explains it to you in person the hard way.

Be careful and know the rules before blasting our local racers!!!!!

so if your first in your class your supposed to hold off and not pass anyone from the other class or gain experience by working your way through them to race with the head of the pack? I don't race so someone explain this to me. Is blocking legal?

That's pure Bull ****!! The faster rider~driver~runner or what ever has the right to pass with out getting blocked! Blocking will get you punted in the weeds. Only some one too slow to get out of their own way would think that blocking was a fair tactic. In most series you get 1 move, if you block after that move it's a black flag.
The GNCC pros didn't like getting beat by the pro production guys but they sure didn't block them!!

Hey Cap, in the GNCC the pros start than the Pro production starts a minute later. So I was wondering how a production guy can be fifth overall and first in his class. His is a fast rider! If you are at a Supercross race lappers get out of the way to let faster riders through. Also I'm a hip hop fan so if I can quote Ludacris "Move B!+cH get out the way"!

GO JOSH!!!! See you at Fernwood WED

Well, First of all...Congrats to Josh for another good race. 1-1?? Can't touch that. Congrats!!!!!

Secondly, the local MX track here runs two strokes and four strokes together all the time. The two strokes leave off the gate first and after they have made a half lap, the four strokes leave out.

If a 4 stroker catches a 2 stroker...It gets a bit controversial as to who does what.

The 4 stroker is only racing the guys behind him and the 2 stroker is racing everyone in front of him.....BUT the 4 stroker can't play follow the turtle either. That would only allow the guys behind him to catch up. It's a situation that I see all the time, but I never have people argue about it. As long as everyone on the track is using good ethics about it and being a good sport.....I see no problem.

It's sortof like an unspoken rule. If you are holding someone up from another class, move out of the way. If you are about to be passed by someone from another class, but you aren't that far behind, race that guy too!!! Just don't take him out!!
