Saw the ultimate disgrace today at the track
#1
I'm not going to mention any names here but someone who rides a Cannondale Moto in our local race circuit in the 250 - 440 beginner class road today. I hadn't seen him race before but he is currently the only Dale rider on our local circuit. He had a mighty holeshot that easily gave him a 4 quad lead into the first corner but he was slowing down so much into the first corner that by the time everyone exited it it was about 1 quad length. He continued to lose about 2 to 3 places a lap out of about 8 or 9 riders. Then the unthinkable happened and SparkyEX will vouch for this as I was there with him. He was passed on his Cannondale Moto by a Polaris sport 400. I could not believe this. I'm thinking he should have put in a years practice before taking this 13,000 dollar machine to the track like the holeshot demonstrated he had more than enough juice to kill anything on the track. The problem seems to be he's more afraid of jumping than any of the other people in his class. He's already run at least 8 races this season and numerous practices without losing much of this fear. I'm thinking it's time to take it to the flat track as mx might not be his best choice.
WOW passed by a Polaris.
WOW passed by a Polaris.

I know!!!! I hate that! There's a kid that runs a LSR framed YZF in the quad C class at the track I work at. He pulls the holeshot, and a kid on a 425ex will pass him on the first lap, 2 kids on stock 400s on the second lap, and he battles a few 250r's and another stock 400ex til the end of the race. Errr, that pisses me off! Stupid rich kid.
