If you don't follow the starting procedure, you can but the hotter plug they are shipping with fixes that.

Very easy to foul, just don't follow the proper starting procedures. I fouled mine first day I brought it home, first time I tried to start it.

It's also very easy to keep it from fouling, just follow the proper starting procedure. I haven't fouled one since the first day I brought it home.

I can't do it in 5 minutes but it's not too bad

Remove the plastic and the gas tank and make sure you have a deep socket that fits. I use a cheap T handle plug wrench with swivel head and ruber peice inside to grab the plug.

It takes five minutes to change your spark plug. Now I remember why I ride a two stroke where the plug is nice and out in the open sitting in perfect view on top of the head. If I spent 5 minutes on each plug that I fouled, I would spend like an hour each week changing plugs. Man that would suck. Just kidding, I have never changed a plug in either of my banshees due to fouling. I guess fuel injection does have some problems too.

What's the number of the hotter plug Smitty?I still get really black sooty looking plugs. They don't foul out but I don't let them in long enough to stop the engine.

Have you had your injector offset adjusted. The Cannons injectors start flowing more fuel that what they think they are and need to be leaned out some. This happens after several hours and the injectors are broken in as well. How many hours on the motor? The hotter plug I believe is the 8.

Smitty offset is now at 1.15 and still making black plugs.Installed an 8 tonight so don't know how that will work.My buddie's 2003 LE has 30300 map and offset at 1.1 with toaster pipe.runs great.I'm not sure where to go next, but it seems that latest Cannibal map works for fast trail riding,no stalls , starts easy.Just got a GP Control Diagnostic & Maintenance tool today,by next week I should have some answers.
