Plug Fouling?

How is this correct offset determined?

I read it's set on a dyno at the factory, are you saying it should be dropped after a few hours are on the engine?

Mine was set at .80 from the factory

All the injectors have a slight differance in flow rate. High performance V-8 you can buy matched sets to ensure that all 8 are giving the same.

Now on to our quads. You have two injectors as they are used they break-in as well, and start to flow more fuel, but the ECU thinks it's giving X based on duration, now with it flowing more at the same duration you have a rich condition and it is possible to fuel the plugs. This is not a knows all end all, this is just what happens.

If you are running rich there are several ways to lean it out. Offset, pulse width, etc.

OK,

I remember someone telling me the offset had something to do with the difference in the the 2 injectors, and that the lower the number the closer they where matched.
