shock?

ok i have a moto and was wondering if i was to move the clip on the shocks on the front if it will just lower the ride hight or what ?

i think thats all it will do but tell me if im wrong

Yes, moving the clip up on the shock bodies will lower your ride heigth.

after moving the clip, lift the front of the quad and check for play in the spring. If the spring moves back and forth freely, you need to move the clip back down. Riding like this will damage the shock

I have done this and there is still plenty of tension on the spring!

well i put the clip in the first slot and ran the thing between the springs out to take the play out.

im just looking to get the quad lower . i came from a r with ZPS and realy liked the way it handled. its the only thing i miss from the R

so im thinking this will help it.

Another thing that should help is takeup springs. My local race shop had just ordered me takeup springs for all 3 shocks. He says this will allow me to move the snap ring all the way to the top and not worry about damaging the springs. They are like $20/piece and I believe he is getting them from PEP.

I'm working on a SSD conversion for the Blaze right now using Elka parts!
