Modified Wiring
#1
Awhile back I removed and made jumpers for the Hdyro Clutch wires on my speed. Well over the weekend I took it one more step. I was having problems with the kill switch slider on the handle bars. My dealer said to cut and solder the wires together. I didn't like the idea to much. Plus I was getting tried of having to bump the starter to prime the fuel on the line when the 10 seconds was called. So I traced the slider switch wires down to the connectors and cut them about 1 1/2" above them and added disconnects so the jumper I install on the clutch would work as the jumpers on the kill switch. Then I added bullet connectors to the switch and connected them into the clutch wiring harness. Now in the off position I can prime the engine like if I left the clutch enaged or put it in the run position and it fires right up. If any one is interested and needs more info let me know. I can snap some pics if needed.

That sounds like a good set up!
I also had a problem hitting the switch on my first trip out on a track. I think I killed it 3 or 4 times bumping that darn thing! I moved it to the other side of the clutch perch after the first practice session and obviously solved the problem.
Thanks for sharing your good idea, I may try it.
