Captain Carl and Corndog can start thier own forum

 

How can I be banned simply for the reason that I am not liked??

No where in the forum rules does it say that, and if that was the case, alot more would be going out the door with me. I wonder why I even get into these discussions sometimes, but I have every much of right to speak that you guys have. I don't agree with everything you guys say, but I don't go jumping around bashing everything you say either.

Every post I have, someone doesn't like it. Big deal. I don't mind criticism nor do I mind being bashed, but trying to get me thrown off the forum just because I don't particularly like Cannondales and tell people of my experiences with them is a being a little to defensive with your quads.

I like Hondas and Yamahas. I have never tried to hide that fact. The Cannondale quads ARE good machines, but not the best for everyone in every situation. Including most of the outdoor tracks around here. I will continue to post what I have SEEN and if that gets me banned, every one of you saying they are the best thing since the discovery of electricity will soon follow me.

I have also got a little info from a "upper" guy in the forums that this happened a little while ago with someone else and he was banned for simply not liking Cannondales. I was assured this would happen again, so if you dislike me based on my disliking of a certain ATV, then YOU can leave.

I have nothing more to add to this waste of forum space.

I thought it was just a joke. I dont want to see anyone banned just because they are an idiot. I just wish you would think cap'n before you write some of the off the wall junk you write. Do you ever wonder why nobody likes you? It is because everything that you say is proved wrong and you challenge people to races and then don't show up. I am not against someone voicing their opinion, it is just how you go about it that ticks everybody off. Just dont say things that you can't prove and maybe people will treat you with a little more respect. I also wanted to add something about your crf 450 super quad! You will spend well over 10 grand for that machine and that has been proven. But you have not even considered the time and labor that it is going to take to get the quad going. We give our money and then drive ours out the door. And you dont have any warranty. Dont sound too smart to me.

First he says he only sees guys with Cannondales complaining about all the problems they have then he says they are blinded by Cannondale. Well which is it I don't see how you can be both if I was complaining about everything wrong with my new quad I certainly wouldn't be singing the praises of the manufacturer.

How can a Cannondale not be good for your local tracks? they have a lot of frame geomotry similarities to 400ex's and 250r's. The pros are racing them all over the country and they seem to be doing fine on all the different tracks.

I think it's great you like Honda and Yamaha but you always take a shot at the Cannondale guys whenever you get the chance and then say "I don't want any flames from you immature guys". Seriously what do you expect.

Every time someone calls you out you don't reply or your claim gets disproved.

Why do you bother comming in the C-Dale forum if you don't like them and aren't trying to start crap?

I'll be the first to say I've debated things with some of these guys I think me and YoDaddy and Smitty911 have had some hp debates and a couple of other topics and we never got mad at eachother. I didn't take shots at them or their machines and they didn't take shots at me so I know these are all good guys in here.

 

i dont know how long some of you have followed this cap. carl thing but it started a couple months ago when i posted that we were gong to race monster mountain for the first time. he says he dont bash or start stuff, thats an out and out lie. he posted in that thread and said for us not to even come to the race unless we had $ 15,000 in our quad and that their riders would make us pee our pants. he also stated his sons raced in the pro class which was another out and out lie as i proved with an e-mail from the track owner that there was no pro atv class at monster mountain now as usual he comes back saying he is the innocent one and we only dislike him because he dont like cannondale and its all the cannondale guys that hate him. he needs to look at everyones signature that is responding, many are honda and yamaha riders.i still stand by my last two statements, the one about if he was on fire and............PUT UP OR SHUT UP

 

I said I wasn't going to say anything else, but I can't just sit and watch all the lieing here. Besides, my name is in the topic so I may respond as I see fit.

First of all..... There was never any plans made to meet ANYBODY at ANY TRACK!!!!

All the "failed to show up at races" is in regards to ONE race and was only discussed in ONE topic!!

I didn't FAIL TO SHOW UP!! We had made last minute plans later that week and even posted them here, so everyone knew we were racing elsewhere from the get go!! The tuth is that THESE GUYS are the ones with the big egos.

I NEVER called anyone out.

If anyone finds these statments to be false, please post the entire discussion instead of these stupid little quotes that aren't in their entirity and doesn't explain what it was in responces to.

There IS a Pro class at Monster Mountain. It is the two stroke class. It was labeled this on all of last year's flyers!! If they say there is no pro class now, they simply renamed it this year and no one around here knew it.

Regarding the "peeing in the pants" comments was a straight out quote that I made regarding the competition down here. When all the locals are here for one race, the competition is fierce and only the locals usually prevail. I never said that riders from other areas could not race.

One more thing....I am NOT the one who gets on here EVERY weekend bragging about racing results........but we all know who does.

I will not back down from my position on Cannondale. I don't just get on here and talk trash. I only come in here and give my opinion about Cannondale when someone is interested in buying one. I don't see where the realm of people who disagree is different here than it is in any other forum on this site. Everything I post here is found in the other forums regarding other models. What good does it do if someone asks about a model and everyone is brainwashed into thinking they are the best and not get any contradicting opinions?? Think about that one.

By the way. I got a private message this evening from a moderator and I while I wont post what was said in it, being private, but I am in no way being considered for being banned from the forum. Just advise to try and get along with the Cannondale guys better because they are special in comparison with other members of the forum.

every time someone doesnt like cannondales, you can them. remember corndog? we all have people on the forum that rub us the wrong way, and everybody pisses someone else off sometime. what happens when the witch hunt comes at you? i say live and let live, you can always be the bigger person and ignore him.

 

I did some looking for this corndog member and found a few posts from others who got him banned. Seems that yall's daddy was the one who instigated that scenario. No wonder he left as well, because he was probally the next one to go with all the rambling he did about things that he knew nothing about. I wouldn't be a bit surprised if he left because he was asked to or risk the shame of being banned himself.

maddog, I like your attitude. I feel the same way. If thwey dislike me now, just think how they would like me if I posted to every single post here?? I could do that, but wont because I am NOT here to stir trouble.

dirtdigger, Say what you will, but that was all fact and the proof in here in the forums.

Corndog was not banned for not liking Cannondales he was banned due to repeated threats against other forum members.

Capn, I could care less if you like Cannondales or not. The problem is with your Openion, everyone has one and they are usally not based on fact. Case in point: At the Sand and Sport show I was in the Trinity racing booth. My Speed was on display there as well. Some guys wanted some information about it so I gave them my history of quads and Why I bought it. Than some knuckle head cowboy know it all interupts me and starts talking about one he saw that had a datalogger, (if you need me to explain what one is I will be more than happy). All this guy did was talk trash about a quad he didn't know he said the Carbs where to small for it to make real HP. For the next fifteen minutes I had to go back over the damn quad and show them there wasn't any carbs, it fuel injected on and on.

Also there are people who no matter how good something is they complain about it. I know lots of people like this.

The point of all that was if you don't have first hand riding expereance with a Cannondale don't talk like you know about them. You have passed on what you overhear and maybe you didn't get the facts correct.
