Which plugs are you guys running? mine has a CR9EK in it now but I was told to run a CR8EK in it. Any help would be appreciated.

 

I am running an 8. Mine came from the dealer with a 10, was a pig to start; going to the hotter plug seemed to help quite a bit in cold starts........JIM

 

mine came with a 9 in it, ran it for 8 months with no problems. I just did a plug change and went with the 8. I think either the 8 or 9 will work fine, I've heard of some flooding problems with the 10.

 

I also run the 8. That's what comes in the bikes from the factory, don't understand why they put the 9 in the quad.

 

CR8EK here and is also the plug we recommend and sell to our customers.

Alot of guys have flooding and plug fouling problems with the 9 and some don't. I think it's more operator than the quad, but either way.....the 8 works great with no problems.

 

I've had the 9 in it since new, if it would start I would tell you more. LOL

CR8EK since day one. Never fouled.

 

Cr8EK here and have never fouled one since switching from the 9
