sounds like a fun time badass! a Cannondale with your setup beat all the 440EX's and Z400's at the Glamis drags last saturday.

 

He said he didn't get beat by a single four stroke out there..... Maybe it was a weekend where there weren't any "bada**" machines out there, ie Banshees, R's, Extreme Raptors, but he didn't lose to any four strokes....

A month or so ago, I saw a piped speed hang with modded shees and raptors out at Pismo.

All I think what dude with the speed was saying that with a little extra cash thrown trinitys way they could make a stock machine pull on any other stockers or slightly modded machines out there. Maybe he was rocking and rolling at pismo that day. I'd be stoked too if I dropped a few bucks for some mods and it was paying off! Corky from life goes on I remember that! I'm amazed anyone who would spend 3X the amount a quad costs in performance upgrades on a Craptor would advertise that fact!! If you start with a turd, it doesn't matter how much icing you put on top of it, you still have a turd!!

 

Well lets line up my turd to your cannible and we will see what my turd with extra icing will do. I know I have a ton of money in my bike if I had a chance to go back I would build my own quad especially now with ti frames coming out. Anywho any bike I would of bought I would of sunk the same amount of money into it because this is my hobby and I dont blow my money at the bars or on ****** like some other people in this forum. LOL

 

it kills me that people will not belive that a cannon dale will beat some thing with a bigger motor .

but im sorry i have seen it first hand . i was at silver lake about a month ago and was blown a way.
on how fast they can be i was only gettin beat by a dude on a shee and that was only by half a quad .
it got so bad that i would go up to the line and sit there.
im not sayin that there was hell a modded quads but there was some fast ones . but when a quad can take dirt bikes its fast i don't care who you are you have to admit that.

i had a 310 tuned and would get stomped by bikes.
so i guess im happy with the moto

 

Alljuice, I'm sure your ride is badass and let me tell you I wouldn't line up with it. That is a fun and addicting hobby my friend, but lets not knock anyone elses hobby. I mean come on there is nothing wrong with going out to a few bars and lovin up on some ******. Bars and ****** are your friend or errrr I mean not like I have first hand experience or something but a friend I know.... Anyway, don't sweat lame comments you do what you do and you enjoy it, F'm buddy!!! Hell, If i was to build a quad from scratch it would come out looking like a dale!

 

I am realy stoked that a 17 yr old can do that on a bike he bought with his $$$! I worked hard for my bike and love the hell out of it. There were no big 727/686 raptors out there but for what there was i ruled. I did lose to some drags to shess but no 4 strokes. I know I cant run with the big 4 strokes but what people had there I took. I did not mean this as a flame or and thing just wanted to share what i have worked for and what a CANNONDALE can do. Just because its a 440 and they have only been out for a few yrs dose not mean they are slow. Trust me a raptor and 400ex and 250r were all on my list but I like the dale the best.

 

All juice (prunejuice LOL) I have 4500 in my race Sport total. It is not an MX bike or a harescramble bike and looks like a stocker, but I wish I could drive that far and show you what a 625 lb bike and rider automatic (75+hp) would do in a drag race against that 18k Raptor. I do ALL my own motor work. Thank you everyone for letting me have a post in another forum. This was my first time to read this one. My next door neighbor is a Cannondale dealer and I get to ride them all. I can smoke a speed with ease. Dont think all Polaris's are turds. Bubba
