How many of you would be interested in a website that would feature custom engine maps for cannondale?JayBr offered to create a site and I would be willing to do some testing to make sure they will work maybe gabe would help if he has time.So who has the ProCal with rider trim?Who has custom maps they would be willing to share?

 

I would love to see a site like that. I will do anything I can to help.

I talked to my dealer today and he told me I could use his laptop and cables any time. The only thing is that his program doesn't have the ability to create custom maps. I will do what I can but I am kind of limited on what I can do.

 

What are you guys talking about? Mapping? Sorry i dont know that much about the c'dale'... But i want to get to know alot more about them, because in the next couple of years I want to sell the ds and get a moto, or if bomb or yama comes out with a new 400-500cc racer.

 

Cannondale quads can be hooked up to a laptop computer or pocket pc to increase performance. You can advance or retard the timing, change fuel pressure, change the fuel injector offset, raise the rev limiter, and set the Idle among many other things. When people talk about custom maps they are talking about changing these things. After they are changed to your liking they can be saved and other people can load them(new maps) into their computer and then into their quad. The moto map has a real hard hitting map for motocross while the blaze's map is a more smooth powerband for gncc. Custom maps are mostly based on these two maps and then changed to the riders preference. Pretty cool huh?
