on my dale the head lights suck like all dales. the point to the sky and the bike love to wheelie so that does not help. what can i do to help this? cut the covers to point the lights down more or what? i wanted lazer stars but i dont know if i need to mess with the stator or what?...or if i can. plus i heard that the LS band breaks alot. and the dale has the shacks so that would not help. thats 4 the help.

Cannondale just came out with new covers the headlights are now mounted in the covers you can look in the parts bulletin on there website for the part numbers but that should take care of your problem.

ab,first off remove the covers
then remove the black rubber gasket(this will allow more light out)
then reaim your lights down(further than you might want to)and replace your covers
it looks odd but it works, there is no need to cut any plastic...
cannondale needs to rethink thier headlights
