okay well in one month, im getting a new quad.ive narrowed it down to the suzuki z400 or the cannondale cannibal. now, my question is with the dales' mapping. is it like a one time thing? or do i have to change every week, lets say? i ride mostly trails in nj, ny, pa. so do i map the engine at the dealer when i get it, and leave it forever?
oh and another thing, how do dales do in trails. ive been riding warriors, banshees, and 4x4's on these trails. dont like the shee- bad hanling, peaky powerband.warrior- simply too big. now the dale and z, lookgood, quick, light. lemme know what you guys think. im 14, and this is a major purchase. dont wanna mess it up.

TaintedGlory- You dont have to change the mapping every week. You can change it for whatever type of riding you want to do. Say for instance if you ride in the woods you can get the Blaze map or if you ride MX you can get the Moto map. I think you will be happy with the mapping that come with the Cannibal, but if you ever wanted to change it you could. The Cannibal is going to be a lot faster than the quads you have listed that you have rode and it does awesome in the woods. Just make sure you are ready for a quad that is fast as the Cannondale. Good luck.

Go with the cannibal, You should be plenty happy with the power. Enjoy a stock cannibal for a while then remap when your ready.. I feel you will have enough power to not worry about mapping for awhile.

It looks like everyone answered your main questions, I just wanted to add some comments. I just picked up my new Cannibal on Saturday.
I too looked at the 'dale and the Z, and ultimately went with the 'dale. No, I am not a pro rider and no, I probably don't even really need the performance that the 'dale offers. To be perfectly honest, I just love technology and I love the look of the machine. It is DIFFERENT. I know that when I go riding, I won't be on the same thing that 500 other guys are on. I like the exclusivity, the "neck snap factor", and I'm talking about not only the acceleration, but the people that nearly twist their heads off turning to look at it as I drive by. Cannondale's reputation for standing behind their products helped as well.
I dunno, maybe that's just me. But just look at it! LE
