Default Radiator shrouds

I've been running one of jcv400ex's rad guards for a few months. It works real well at a good price. I've got the silver vein one on my Speed but the red one looks real sharp on a Cannibal.

R.I.S. Designs has some nice looking shrouds along with lots of aluminum goodies for the C-Dale

Default Radiator shrouds

I went to my local track wednesday night and there was a Blaze there with OMF shrouds. They looked nice and very functional so I ordered a set with the guard the next day. They were reasonably priced at $125.00 for the whole set-up through Nac's Racing. I also ordered Nac's number plate backrounds in black and a set of white numbers. Hopefully my Moto will look nice with the new additions. I also have the new K&N filter ready to go. Thanks for everyone's opinion. P.S I can't wait to see the Fullbore plastics when they come out. I'm holding off buying the QuadTech hood until I see what Fullbore comes out with.

the larger radiator shrouds from OMF do nothing but catch more mud. There isn't any added function. They're just overly priced 2 pieces of aluminum. I just cut the stock profile sides out of .125 aluminum, and I have a total of $15....and that included the sawblade...

IMO, I would NOT put a K&N filter on a Cannondale...that's just asking for trouble. They do NOT work well for offroad applications. THey flow no more air than the stock filter, and they let dirt and water get into your engine. Running a K&N filter on my 400ex is why I have to rebuild it... The stock filter is a dual stage unit manufactured by UNI, and you can't get much better than that.

I did the same thing jcv400ex, the aluminum pieces I have are identical to the factory ones I just polished and put an omf radiator louver on also.I dont know how thick Alum. is, but very close to the plastic shroud thickness.

I am running a Umracing.com Grill and Scoops and my speed right now (if it were running). I local shop pointed them out to me and they look sweet! I can see my self in them easily, even the Grill check them out they look great. and they have a hole and slit in them with a rubber gromet for the cable cluches.
