dude the jump was so bad a@@. i tried it the first rime and i barely cased it so i thought. That the second time all i had to dowas give some gas and i would over jump the triple. The jump was a 120' down hill triple looks long but not hard I THOUGHT. there is a step up bfore done that came off in 4th gear shifted into 5th hit the jump on the left side of the face the first time and the second time on the right side the lip was pretty much straight up it through the nose almost like a back flip i tried to recover the font end and couldnt so i bailed about 40' in the air. cam e down on my leg and shoulder the fell knoch\ked me out. when i cam etoo the paramedic was asking me where do i hurt (SHE WAS HOT LOVE TEXAS WOMEN) i said my left leg was burning i looked up and my bone was out of my leg abut 3" that made me faint again. They medi vacced me in a helicopter to the hospital where i had to go to surgery where they put a metal rod in my left leg and three pins to hold it to the bone. My chance of returning to the MX track??????? not really sure yet. Still love it miss it just not sure...

fuller, from experience, by the time you get healed up, you'll be foaming at the mouth to ride. it happens to everyone when they get hurt. just like everybody says they are not drinking ever again after they wake up with a bad hang over. but for now just relax and heal up, you riding desires will return to you when your body starts to recover. best wishes to a speedy recovery.

yea, Riding is addictive, seriously! I sometimes start to shiver when I don't get to ride more than 3 times a week!

I have not met you, but I can sympathize with you. I broke both ankles an a 110 foot double called "MONGO" at motocross 886. I sat in a wheelchair for 3 months and had to practically learn to walk again. You will probably be riding before you lose the crutches, but you will keep that accident in the back of your head every time you come to a big jump. Hope you heal up good and come back riding just as hard.
