Has anyone raced a Predator yet? If so how bad did you beat it or did you? be truthfull now..lol

 

Dunerocket, I was just going to write that same exact post!!!! I have been reading all the posts on the Polaris thread and to be honest, I am getting really tired of all the childish behavior, arguing over how the Preditor could or could not beat a 'shee or raptor!! hopefully we can get a cool minded dale owner to give a good honest report. later.......

 

We have a planned trip this weekend (if it's not below zero) a stock Predator, stock Cannibal, and my Raptor we might have a stock Raptor too. I will let you know how they make out. I am real curious about the Predator and the dale myself. I rode both and power wise I think they will be close. If I were to guess I would say the Dale by at most a quad or 2 but we will see.

Hmm, haven't seen any childish behavior, just people like you seeking an unbiased, accurate account of the results. Raptorrider, those stock on stock results should be interesting. I kinda doubt the Predator will handle a C'dale in a drag race, but I would like to see, or hear some shootout results. I'm sick of Dirty Wheels having their faves and trying to influence people with "their opinions", not facts. Go back over to the Suzuki factory and drink more Saki, Dirty Wheels, we'll do our own tests.....and let our subscriptions run out as we do.

Amen brother!! Have you seen the latest issue of 4 wheel ATV action? There are like 7 quad articles and 5 of them on on suzukis. They should just rename the magazine. I bet if they did a shootout on the Z400 vs KXF400, the Z400 would win hands down! The yellow probably appeals to more average riders!

I am going to test ride one tomorrow. Can't race it against my Dale since it is in the shop again... fried electronics this time... after more and more stalling out. Cooked the stator and rectifier.
Will let you know how the Predator ran. I believe there will be a few other brands there to run against.

 

I just saw two videos of a predator beating a c-dale. The first race the c-dale got beat by 2-3 lenths, the 2nd race was a lot closer. The video is in the Polaris forum if you want to see it. Its under Gear change / Predator video.

 

The videos in the Polaris forum shows it is very close, rider would make the difference. Does look like the Predator is soaking up the bumps a little better. For once the American machines will dominate the sport quad market.

 

Some Video's in THIS POST (2nd post) of a Cannondale Glamis against the Predator. They are pretty much dead even! The C-dale has more bottom end.
