an engineer on the ATV industrie told me this when I asked him about the Speed:


"I tried to tell you I didn't like that machine for various reasons. They are made 15 miles north of my shop - or I should say there were made 15 miles north of here. As of today, the doors are closed at Cannondale. They have not filed Chapter 11 yet but they have laid off all their employees and closed the doors. All assets are frozen including their paychecks. It doesn't look good."



Do you think this is true? are we really fv(k?

 

Folks, I just got off the phone literally 5 minutes agowith a member of the ATV media, this is what he told me. "cannondale has not filed chapter 11 they have however closed there doors and locked out all the workers". When I asked him if he had heard what was next he said that there are rumors of another company coming in and buying them, but that those are just unverified rumors. I too have no stake or pesonal interest in this matter I just want to pass along what I have heard. I have done various amounts of research on this whole thing and all I can say is it doesnt look good for C-dale. I am not an anti C-dale guy I think they put out a quality product and if this is the end of the production then I am sad for them and the industry. they raised the bar and gave alot of people what they had been wanting for along time . I only hope this is the beginning of a turn around and that they come outof this and get back to making their products. Good luck to all and I hope anyone who knows more about this will let us all know whats going on.

In my opinion, this is great for cannondale. Think about it!

 

Why doesn't smoeone just try calling first. If you do this you will see that the employees are at work and not locked out.. Cannondale is running the same as normal right now.

 

Doesn't chapter 11 meen you are re-organizing your debt? It doesn't meen your going out of business at all as far as I know. The company my wife works for has claimed chapter 11 twice in the 15 years she's worked there.
