True or not, this will be a sad day for ATV racers across the country. Word has it they are still working, but only with a skeleton crew.

"Cannondale Shuts Down"

"Racer X has learned that the Cannondale motorcycle project may be over. The company closed its Bedford and Bethel plants, in Pennsylvania, today, marking the end of production on motorcycles and quadcycles, as well as the bicycles that come out of those buildings. The ambitious Cannondale motorcycle project had been troubled from the start, though it appeared they were turning a corner recently, especially in the quadcycle market. However, several calls have come in from people close to the company saying that Cannondale did not make the payroll this week and had shut its doors. We will let you know more on this breaking story."

 

i called cannondale trying to order a moto exhaust before something bad happens and that is when they told me what i posted before

 

That sucks!

 

My friend thought he blew his up over the weekend. they tore it down this morning and it ended up he broke a valve. They are replacing it for him ofcourse. I dont understand how they are closing if they called him and got him another motor today. Another thing is that my dealer also called them this morning and just playing around said "did you guys have any problems getting in the door this morning and the lady (he asked cause every one said they were shutting there doors) said that she didnt have any problem and she said her husband works in the plant and he didnt have a problem so my question is if they are locking the doors and not making payroll then why are the employees working? I know if my employer wasnt paying me then I wouldnt go to work. I just am going to set and wait it out. When my dealer says they are closing then I will believe him. Cause we have a guy that prints all these out and brings them and is scared to death they are closing so I think when he says they are i wll believe them but they showed no signs of it this morning.

Also in the new 4 Wheeler Magazine theyres an article on Dales new Carbon Fiber axle and swingarm.Dont sound like they gave up yet????? late,zubbeyboy

 

Call Jividens power equiptment or go to cannondaleriders.com and ask heydug. He is the main guy at Jividens. I can give you the # if you like and you can ask them for yourself if my friend is lying!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

YAMRACER>>>>>Are you sure your dealer actually had the phone on when they dialed the number? This is HAPPENING!!! Chapter 11...end of Motorsports for now...read the articles...look at Cannondales official website...Jividens had the wrong number maybe??? And are you sure the motor wasnt put back together with parts they had in stock?
