I can't agree with you Ryanstones. I think this shows one of the best efforts, that has made this country what it is today. When everyone else is making the mainstream so so stuff, the owners at C-dale made great strides to improve the industry. Not just there Corporate bottom line. The ones you should be upset with are all those skeptics who wouldn't support this fine effort. The play it safers, Those with no huevos. The true Cannondaler knows theres nothing like it and wouldn't trade it. Like in many other things it is our own that has let Cannondale and the rest of us down. I wish nothing but the best for all those at Cannondale and hope that things work out for those of us that truely stand by them!

Maybe Scott should dump some of the millions he has made in the past back into this. Yes it was his vision and his FAILURE. He needs to "nut up" and see it thru for all of you.

Wow. I owned a 02 cannibal and sold it about a month ago. The machine was awesome, what power and response. State of the art breaking grounds. But, really you guys must be blind if u didnt see this coming. I did. And thats why I jumped ship and went to a diff ride. How can a company constantly warrenty this machine even after a yr old and expect them to stay in business. They are in it for the money. All companies are. They would have not sunk the ship if they would have just stopped warr. items after the 6 month period. Instead they tried to save face and treat their customers awesome. Warrentied everything under the sun. So who do we have to blame for this downfall, cannondale or ourselves. Cracked engine cases, junk tie rod ends, junk ball joints, numerous engine problems, wiring harness problems, engine after engine replaced, engine rails,needle bearings in swing arm, alxe bearings, problems with spindles. Really guys how can a company stay afloat when so many problems and alot of owners never spent a dime getting these things fixed. And as for the stock holders ur completely wrong there. They didnt have anything to do with the downfall of cannondale. The investors are not the problem what r u nuts. Thank goodness for the investment of the stockholders, or cannondale would have been done along time ago. Some advice but as much stock as u can now in cannondale cause the bicycle div. will make a huge come back and the stock will rise and then You can take them earnings and drop it on a new ride. Why did i sell, well lets see. Everytime i went to the shop theres a cannondale, always warrentied, cash only basis with suppliers, lay-offs, that was all a dead give away. If a company does buy up cannondale the first priority is dont and I mean dont warrenty everything under the sun after warr runs out and hold ur suppliers of parts responsible for junk stuff. Have u guys heard of QS9000 or ISO9000. Maybe somebody should tell scott about that. And make it alot more reliable. And have u asked urself why gncc and gnc guys bailed and went to new rides this coming year. Well guys good luck truely and I hope eveything works out for ya in the future. I really dont know about these exotic quads cannondale, gas gas. Maybe u should stick with the bigger companies like suz.,kaw, pol., yam., or honda. All proven names and companies.

 

They warrantied all these things because over half of them, the dealer screwed up. Read all the posts in every forum under cannondale. You will find numerous people talking crap about there cannondale dealers. Happy for you and your new ride, but don't gloat. We who still have them will keep them. Quick every body sell your 250Rs, they stopped making them 14 years ago!!!!!!
Why buy from the big four? The more options the better. If I rode a 400ex, my buddy rode a 400ex, and his friend rode a 400ex, what fun would that be. My 2cents.

How and the heck is the dealer reponsible for cracked cases by the front engine mount. Please go get a life the dealers kept the darn things runnin. Atleast my dealer sure did everything poss and in his control. Always puttin the blame some where beside where it belongs. Cannondale and their suppliers. Ok i guess the junk ball joints are the dealers fault, bad spindles all dealers fault right. WRONG!!!!!!!!!!

 

Go a head and be a jerk about it. I was not talking about everything, they fixed a lot of stuff early on the fx400s. Yes they do have updates to fix other problem areas now, but chill out. In fact I have not had to see a dealer or anyone in the time I have owned my cannibal(10 months). There are some bad eggs out there, but cannondale decided to make things right and not screw anyone.

Maybe all the current owners could send them 100 dollars each to help get them back on there feet. That would be cool.
