I think Cannondale did it right by fixing many problems under the warrentee. It seemed to me that most of the problems that Cannondale fixed under warrentee was infact under warrentee- (less then 6 months). I myself had two engines replaced- (two different machines) in the warrentee time frame, first because Cannibal lost compression ('02), and second because Moto had a cracked case by the engine mount. ('02). Although in the case of the Moto, I tried to get them to fix my engine by replacing the engine case only because there was nothing wrong with the engine but Cannondale wanted the engine to look at it. We got to realize that there is nothing like real world experience to bring out all the 'bugs' in a machine. I felt that Cannondale was on the verge of getting all of their theething problems resolved. I was looking forward to buying the new '04 Moto with lighter frame, more power and all the bugs worked out.
