My friend has a prototype of what Harley's quad would be like. Its an extremely heavy homemade frame. It doesn't handle very good and it is powered by a CR500 engine. If you have ever rode a 500 you know they shake you to death. It is painted orange also.

Everyone looks at in in awe because of the engine and size of the bike. But my lighter, more dependable, easier to ride foreign made banshee will walk all over it.

Sounds just like a harley bike doesn't it[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img].

 

But people WOULD buy it just because of the name on it... sound familiar? **COUGH*COUGH**honda**COUGH*COUGH**

I wouldn't mind them buying C-dale as long as they left the motor alone. That would mean somebody is producing parts for my motor. BUT, I thought somebody else besides C-dale built the motors? Wouldn't we be able to buy parts from that company? If I'm not mistaken.

 

I put a lot of thought into this subject today. My theory is Cagiva will buy out Cannondale. This would be perfect. They would stay the same top-of-the-line bikes that they are now and the awesome ideas of Cagiva will be introduced into the atv world. Look at the Husquvarna buyout by Cagiva. The best huskys to date are in the last couple of years.

What does anyone else think.

High end PWC
Technologically, they are on the bleeding edge. (not afraid to try something new)
They pre-sell every unit they produce.
They are into racing.
Trying to build a dealer network.
Located in California, where the rumor has it the potential buyer is.

I don't think it's the aqua jet company. That guy doesn't seem like the risk taker.

Buell American Motorcycles is located in San Diego, Cali....... :-) So it might not be Harley Davidson....but it's close!

Actually NO, Buell is a seperate entity that just so happens to use a harley motor.

Is the dodge ram built by cummins just becuase it has a cummins diesel???
