Dubya i think you got it...My air filter was on upside down....the seam was at the top and things wernt seated in the airbox correct...And doesnt cold air lean the bike out vs richening it up? Used to have to put a bigger main in the R when it was cold out..well thanks

D&M kit= diagnostic & maintence kit. It's from Optium.(they make the fuel managment system) It's a computer program that allows you to change your fuel mapping, and do some adjusting.

R&S can get a kit for the 500 ECU also. But, I believe you cannot adjust the fuel parameters, but you can still load different mapping with it. They also have a MC1000 upgrade kit that they sell. www.rsperformance.net
