Default Remapped Cannibal as fast as Speed?

I'm thinking about getting a Dale, despite the Ch. 11 thing. My question is, how easy is it to remap a cannibal with the speed mapping? And once that's done, is the cannibal as fast as the speed? I'm not too interested in the higher end components that the speed comes with since I'm never going to race pro anyways, so I would just be buying the speed for the extra performance it has. Should I just get a cannibal and re-map?

Thanks in advance

Yes it will be as fast as the speed. Personal choice on the extras. We opted for the Cannibals! Any dealer can remap or you can buy the kit to do it yourself through Optimum-power.com.

Myself personally i like the mapping of the cannibal better than the speed map!

If you're going to do much dune riding, I'd opt for the Speed (or Glamis). With the rev limiter at 11.6 instead of 10.6 will make some difference most noticeably in the sand.

I'd buy the Cannibal and remap it. I think the only difference is the 1000 extra RPM's. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't pay an extra $1000 for 1000 rpm's, when you can just pay about $40-50 and still get that extra 1k rpm's. You could also buy a pipe and go w/ the Blaze or Moto map. If you ride trails, the Blaze map might be the best for you and if you are the kind of guy that's riding w/ it pinned constantly, the moto map might be best for you. If you ride a lot of sand, check out the Glamis map. It would probably be best to get a aftermarket pipe for the blaze and moto maps though.

Oh, and if you were going to get into racing and wanted to build your own racer. The Cannibal would be better than the Speed. Every advantage that the speed has over the cannibal isn't up to par w/ mx either so if you had a fully built speed and a fully built cannibal, you would have spent and extra $1000 on the speed and the only thing you wouldn't have had to buy would be the handlebars, and seat cover. $1000 for a seat cover and handle bars seems like an aweful lot to me.

Yes it can be re-mapped.

The only difference between the speed and cannibal maps is the rev-limit, everything else (in the map) is exactly the same.
