I wonder how the new owners of cannondale will handle warrenty's on bikes sold before they bought the company and future updates? I guess we will know by this time next week.

I'm almost posotive that the new owners won't do any warrenty work on any quads that were bought before they bought C-dale. They have no reason to warranty the quads and bikes either. Pretend that you just bought a company. Lets say that company has made a few mistakes and had a few recalls out there and then they sold out and you bought them. Would you want to cover another companies mistakes? Hell no.

Cannondale was already to wasteful w/ their money. When someone has motor problems, you don't just replace the whole motor. Although, at the time it seemed like a really cool move, and now we all realize how dumb that was. I doubt the new company will make those same mistakes and they won't cover C-dales old mistakes.

I'm sure they'll look at it as Cannondales mistakes, and not theirs. And the only good that current C-dale owners will get out of this is that they will be able to get parts, but don't expect to get any free parts or get any Cannondale recalls covered by a new company. They have absolutely no reason to worry about current C-dale warranties.

There is the Product Liability that transfers with the product. Not sure of how it all works, but I'm sure that is an issue to be concedered.

The new buyer/bidder will have decisions to make:
To assume liabilities and assets
Just assume assets
Obviously there is a difference in cost.
We all hope they assume liabilities and assets
