Motor swaps for C-dale?

This is true. KTM makes a awsome motor. Their smaller one, can't remember cc's, is a exact bolt in as the bigger one. The other great thing is that the sprocket is on the same side as a Dale. Sooooo no bu!!$h!t with the swing arm. Now we need to figure out how to replace that carb with injectors !!

there is a guy who races hare scrambles with me that has a walsh chassis with a 525 ktm motor, that thing is fast ... very fast, it WILL out run a c-dale i have seen it with my own 2 eyes, but ... .this past weekend the KTM grenaded, all there was was alot of smoke and no power

Just find someone that is good w/ aluminum. There is room there. I think the easiest way to do it would be to get one of those K&N filters that bolt directly up to the carb, since the gas tank doesn't leave room for an air box. Maybe some heat tape on the gas tank too since the pipe would be pretty close to it.
I bet you would have to do a lot of custom work and get the header bent the right way, but it would be possible.
Somebody should try that. I know there are some people on this forum that have a lot of money just waiting to be spent.
