Bad News for Cannondale fans - they are bankrupct.

Ya, some people don't hear about this until much later but if they are going to post in this forum, you would think that they would see the list of "Who bought C-dale, C-dale is bankrupt, Sorry about what happened to C-dale, Was C-dale sold, ect. ect. ect." posts that have been all over the Cannondale forum for the past 3 months.

As far as I know Cannondale has completely shut down it's motorsports division. Not sold off...shut down!! They are going back to what made them money.....Bikes. I would love to see a Cannondale sell for $5700, but I don't see it happening. If they could produce their machines at competitive prices they would have ruled the industry. To bad for us $10000-$12000 quads are not in most peoples budget. All I will say is if someone buys Cannondale motorsport division and they can be produced for a decent price you will find my Z on Ebay.

Hey you guys don't get it, This guy from Utah didn't know about the Bandrupcy that means others might not know either, There is still time to put your bike up for sale before everyone know what's up
The Dale is a nice very fast unit if you can keep it running!
Good luck

My Cannibal is running just fine and i have no plans on selling it, and i have plenty of spare parts. Quadsource has plenty of parts as well as other dealers. It's the best thing i have been on, i love it!!!

Truth be known, it is the dirtbike that sank them, the quads were doing okay. Competing on the level of Honda, Yamaha and Suzuki in Motocross is a real hard act to follow, they have been excelling and fine tuning their motocrossers for 30 years. Quads are just not as sophisticated.

Too bad Cannondale didn't just ditch the lame motorbike division & keep the Quads - since they were actually selling. I saw a Cannondale dirtbike at the local dealer a couple of years ago, they had already re-crated it, they were sending it back because they couldn't sell it. Maybe you guys will get lucky & someone with a little cash and brains will buy the motorsports divison (it can't cost that much at this point in the whole scheme of things!) and start producing the quads again.
So anyone out there reading the foums got a couple of extra million to splurge on an ATV Brand name? You could even name it after yourself! How much better could it get than that...!
