what should i get?

hey guys....the big question now is on my mind....how reliable are these machines in varying weather conditions....and how hard are they to fix???? i have decent mechanical ability, workin on honda cars and mitsubishis. my mojave hasnt been too good of a machine, and i was lookin for something a little better...oh, and i ve never ridden with anyone who had a cannondale....how fast are these things?? ive heard they get up and go...but really what i like about the idea of fuel injection is a smooth and tunable power curve....anyone who could compare and contrast to....lets say a raptor or a kfx400, or 400ex would be of great help....thanks

Arent you guys worried about parts? I would not knowingly buy a machine from a bankrupt company, unless the future was sorta in view..
But a Cannibal for $4000 cant be beat.. Wonder what they are going for around here???

Smitty, why is Honda detuning their machine and why is Yamaha not? Where did you get the info to the time frame at? Are there any stats on the machines yet or anything about them to learn about the machine from?

hey man, where in the ny area can i get a cannondale for a reasonable price....i called around, and have only been able to find a cannibal for 6499. this sounds expensive when compared to some gettin theres for 4-5k. if anyone has a used one that they wanna get rid of, let me know..or ill take some more dealer phone numbers...and hey....cant we get aftermarket parts for these things if cannondale goes out???

The reason Honda is detuning the 450 motor is probably because of the frame it's going in, (400EX), whereas Yamaha's new quad is going to be put in all new frame to match the power output of their 450 motor.
