hey guys....i want a high performance fuel injected quad...the prob is, i rarely do "mx" style riding, i do more like through the woods and mountain trails...sometimes even in a little snow...i always thought that these cannondales were no good for hard woods riding..was i mistaken or is there a nice quad to take through the woods that has the tehnology to keep up with my freinds??---oh...and i dont know if its relevant but i dont want a two stroke---

any cannondale under the moto version will work in the woods. a blaze is set up for woods racing, i have a speed with all the same stuff that comes with a blaze (nerf bars, bark busters, reinforced rims and a blaze mapping) i havent had a problem in the woods, i am not a pro rider but it is a great all around quad

Wait a month, Yamaha is introducing their new 450 4 stroke in May that is suppose to be an all out racer. Word is the stance is 48" wide and ready
to hit the track. Honda is coming out in December with their new 450 quad but it will be in the 400EX chassis and the motor will be seriously detuned, unlike the Yamaha.

I woulndt hold my breath for the yahamajunk. Get a cannibal right now while they are cheap and do what you want to it. I ride basically the same stuff you listed and love my cannibal for all of it. They are great in the woods, you just have to get used to keeping it reved up like a two stroke.

I was just wondering how much a dealer would sell one for now or should I say were the dealers floating the quads and really haven't lost as much as the owners or a future owner?

If you really want one I would call around to some cdale dealers and see how much. Ive heard of some people getting some great deals on them. Like one guy said he traded his used 400ex to a brand new cannibal even!!!!
