I just spent the last hour or so reading from Howard Dean's campaign website. This guy is a disaster! He has the most radical environmental views I have ever seen. He is responsible for putting 8% of Vermont into State protected lands, untouchable to the public. That's almost a tenth of the state!!

I don't believe that Dean will stand a chance in the Democratic primary. However, we all need to keep an eye on this guy. He is highly motivated and already has a few pullable strings in the senate it seems.

Dean has just been the media darling de jour. Now it'll be the General for a while, but he's kind of a dipstick. The Clintons are running the democratic party. If Bush drops in the polls where they sniff a possible democratic victory, Hillary will jump in, walk away easy with the nomination, and General Clark will be her running mate to help stave off their tradition of "loathing the military". I study this crap every day.

I finally tracked down the afore mentioned article. It's very lengthy. The paragraph dealing with the ATV and Snowmobiling is about halfway through. Happy reading.

I am extremely glad to see that there are some people out there that don't dog Bush like crazy. I hope like hell he get's reelected. I'd rather have an economy that isn't perfect than have to worry about another terrorist attack. I sure wish I could vote.

Thanks for info. I heard about Gov. of Vermont possibly having a decent chance at being democratic front runner. And now that I know where he stands on that issue, he surely won't get my vote. I decided who will get my vote for 2004 2 years ago anyway!

Bush, again.

You guys are hitting the nail right on the head....Dean is a joke....I'll be suprised if he even wins Vermont if he is in the race....lots of people here despise him.

When our new Govenor (Jim Douglas) was brought into office, his speach consisted of things like (I'm paraphrasing) "The state of Vermont is in very bad shape, we have a lot of work ahead of us to get things to where they need to be....yada yada"

and Dean gave his little speach right after that saying something like....

"I'd like to announce that I will be running for President, blah blah....If I am elected I would like to model the rest of the country after Vermont....blah blah"

I just found that funny....our new Govenor (who is great by the way) was basically saying that the state was in shambles, and Dean gets up there directly after him saying that he wants to make the rest of the country like Vermont....so I suppose that is saying that he wants to screw everything up and let somebody else fix it when he's gone

go back to Soviet Russia you Pinko Commie ! ! !, Republicans are about keeping things the way they are because thats how they've worked throughout the ages for the masses. I'm sick of these left-wing liberalist democrats, who think they can just come in and change everything. This is a great country! leave it that way!!!!!

I am very encouraged with what I am reading here. A lot of you forum members are young, and many not even old enough to vote, yet you are pretty well informed and actually care about your liberties and how our country is being run.

There's a lot of people out there who don't even take the time to vote. Like half of them. Be informed, be involved, and we shall prevail.

Rock on!!
