I went riding today with some of my friends. After riding for awhile we went back to our trucks to see if a buddy of ours had showed up. Standing next to our trucks were a policeman and a city alderman. The city alderman was taking pictures of the land and our quads. They stopped us to ask a couple questions. They asked how often we ride and some questions about how fast we ride through certain parts of the trails. After talking to them for awhile we found out that the city alderman was out looking at a few places that the city owns to try to get it approved through the city council to let people ride there. First time I've heard news like that in quite awhile. Just wanted to let everyone know there is still hope in some places.

 

Cool! Sounds like they talked to (and probably saw/heard) the right kind of rider in you Southy! Did you happen to get names? Might be a good thing to keep showing an interest.
