Any New York riders here????

If there are any NY reiders here I'm looking for info on the trails and the trail pass system that was formed over the past year or so. There are several miles of trails in the Lake George area that I was interested in. I am from NY and now live in the Northwest corner of CT. Just looking for different trails in the area. Thanks for any info. BART

Check www.trailpass.com for the info. They should have all the info you need. Lake George is a bit far for me, so I don't have anything else to help you.

the trails in lake george are ok- a bit rocky but not bad
the other place- atvny- in modena was recently shut down so SOL i guess
i wouldnt consider ny if you want to ride, i would however check out massachusetts, they are atv friendly and there are plenty of trails there and its prolly closer to you

about that old railroad track thing you talked about, where i live in new york there is one like that that goes for a long time idk how long but far and instead of making it a atv trail they chase everyone who tries to ride on it off. It would be a perfect place for a trail, idont get it

There is a good trail system in Dolgeville NY. This is about 75 miles west of Albany. It is on the trail pass site.

im not sure if its the same one your talking about, but the old railroad track (dosnt have the tracks on it anymore) goes right across my road. but yeah its illegal to ride motorized veachles on it, (because of people digging it up) but yet they let people ride hoarse's on it and snow mobiles in the winter (and sometimes theres not much snow)
sucks cause i live 8 miles outta town and that could take me right there. my friend rides them all the time though.
