Colorado: Kelly Flats under fire

Owners of private land bordering the Kelly FLats area in northern Colorado are raising a stink. They want more restriction of use in the area.
Sadly, for quite a bit, they are justified. Most of us ride responibly, but there are a lot that just go up there to drink and play hell on the area.
Come on folks, let's police our own! When you see someone tearing up a pristine pasture, littering, or just being a pain, go confront them rather than shake your head and ride on. Those few, and the indifference of so many others, is why we are losing our best riding areas!
I do like tis quote from one of the responible offroad clubs out here:
Quote:
He also notes four-wheel drivers were using the area before it was developed.
"It's like the airport," he said. "We were on Kelly Flats before any house was ever put there. The homeowners want their own private playground."
