Default Some Rider Will Ruin It For Everyone

We went out yesterday to an area next to a levee. The levee protects a city so thay have rules against riding on it.
Two guys show up with their quads and ride over a berm the levee district has pushed up to keep vehicles out of the area, around a sign that says "No Riding On Levee" and around a fence to gain acccess to the area. Then they rode down the side of the levee tearing it up.
Just what are people thinking?

Hit them were it hurts, the wallet. Report them and make sure they get caught if you can. Fines can be a deturant if they actually get imposed.

AMEN to that... get their license number and pull out that cell phone and call the authorities. Then, make sure you show up at the trial and let the judge know that not all ATV "Enthusiasts" are hooligans... Most are law abiding people who do care about the environment, and act responsibly. Then I'd ask the judge to confiscate their quads and sell them to pay for the damage they caused... Maybe donate them to rider training programs...
