Since you know so darn much about all the questions you are asking, than WHY are you asking me questions for?Just fire up the DNR links that you have been, all the answers you need seem to be in there..And since your so knowledgeable in regards to trails and maintenance,im wondering when the last time you actually did any trail maintenance?
And while your at it, since not ONE PENNY of our trail maintenance money is paid for by the State of Michigan, please let me know HOW the State reimburses 'some volunteer' trail maintenance groups for their efforts. And show me ONE DNR officer that has done trail maintenance.
Please clerify this for me as I look forward to your answers.

Sorry mr mud, but maybe quote the whole text, I know you are only replying to that one sentence. I read on the state's website opposite information than what you posted. I pointed out that and now you have a problem with it. Is not the DNR part of the state? Let me see here, you posted eariler that the ORV fee money is used for the "trail maintenance", The DNR is part of the State government. So here again now you claim the state of MI is not paying those grants? mr mud, go read what the state's website says, remember you orignally told me to go there to get answers, and then you continue to reply here with info that is not what is on the states website. mr mud if your questioning me about the dnr doing grant trail maintenance, don't question me, question the state governement. Again go reread what the state is saying and then go question them, since you do not agree with what they are saying on thier website about trail maintenance. I was only quoting what the state says about this trail maintenance you seem to have a problem with, again go talk with the state.
Sorry mr mud, never once did I say I knew anything, you claimed that in post after post. You claimed you knew things, then when asked about those things does it get very interesting. I already replied to your friend woody400, and you feel you have to get someone else in here to help you bash me even more? Just because this started out because I asked you some questions about things you posted? Then things got worst because I posted that I did not want to join that club you mentioned, that at 1st you claimed to not have anything to do with, but latter find out otherwise, and you still claim I posted that you owned it, which I never posted you owned any clubs, I'm sorry mr mud if your feelings got hurt, because of what the state's website says is different than what you post. All I can post is that if you do not like what is on the state's website, then you'd have to contact the state to get it changed.
Again mr mud, sorry if your feeling got hurt over something I posted, but just remember who started bashing who here.
I was just asking questions about the things you posted or mentioned you knew about.
Again mr mud, why are you still replying?
I appologize for anything I posted that upset you, 2trakr, or anyone else.
I do not think I posted anything of the sort tho.
I was asking you questions about things you posted.

mr mud doesn't like it when I found what he was posting was opposite what the state's website has on it, and now he bashing even more, and got the vp of that club to come on in here and help out mr mud. Is this the way it goes with these guys from that club?
So my mentioning that the "trail maintenance" plan needs to be updated, is not what they want to see, so bashing me even more is the result? So these persons know how bad the maintenance plan is and do anything they can when someone brings up the questions of why can't it be fixed/update.
Sometimes someone has to ask some hard questions to get to answers, if I ruffled some feathers here too bad, I'll say I'm sorry, but that is it. I will continue to do the same.
blackballed, I'm also sorry if i posted anything that hurt your feeling as well, but I still feel that nothing I have posted was of the sort.

WOW!, you are kind of negetive arnt you? I was trying to help answer some of your questions.I also did not ask you to [join] our club.I simply said if you would like to check out our site [which has a lot of good info on it]I would make sure you could. And as far as the tree and branch thing goes I apoligize for the mistake, like I said I get bugged when I here folks complain about the trails, although I have moved trees as well. We cant help if a storm blow down a tree now and then. But trust me thats not what the dnr is complaining about when they talk about trail abuse when riders go around a tree. And as far as red tape for doing trail maintance goes, there is a thing called insurance that everyone has to have by the club to partcipate in trail maintance and its not cheap or easy to get. Sorry I replied thought I could help. Woody!

mr wood, your friend mr mud brought up the maintenance in one of his posts so I asked him more questions. If mr mud had not replied, then you would not be reading this would you?
I thought you posted the insurance in your last post "We also do trail maintance when poss.but you would not belive the red tape involved in that. With ins. an all its pretty hard to do some things".
My thoughts are why did you reply? did mr mud ask you too?
It still sounds like the "trail maintenance" plan needs to be badly updated. This seems like things you do not want to hear.
So my post is negative? Why, because I posted again I do not want to join that club? Or because I question what mud posted is opposite from what I found published by government? So now I'm the problem/negative, because I noticed this and posted about it "over here"? Or is it because I posted huge tree and you and mud say branch, and I do not like it when you and mud twist what I posted into something it was not. There are many examples here of how it is being done by mud and you joined in here. Sorry woody, but I'm not negative.
Maybe you and mud can take the advice I mentioned earler to mud, Like TIC posted "WE ARE ALL ON THIS WEB SITE FOR ONE REASON. WE ALL HAVE THE SAME LOVE FOR OUR ATV'S. remember that."

MOTO,
first and foremost, what do you take me as,some sort of a chump?Let me make one thing PERFECTLY clear, I did NOT ask ANYBODY to come into this forum and speak up for me..I was busy all day today in North Branch,Michigan and just got home a little bit ago..I dont need Woody or ANYBODY to help me,im a pretty big boy and can handle myself well without anyones assistance.I dont appreciate you accusing me of needing someone else's assistance to verify the discussions in which I speak of.
Let me tell you something your not going to like.I read your post, and alls you want to do is the exact same thing your Uncle BlackBalled is doing.Your NIT-PICKING just like your post below,
QUOTE-- Is not the DNR part of the state? Let me see here, you posted eariler that the ORV fee money is used for the "trail maintenance", The DNR is part of the State government. So here again now you claim the state of MI is not paying those grants..END of Quote
Our ORV sport is SELF SUPPORTING,meaning that not ONE PENNY of State monies or tax payers monies are used to support ANY part of our ORV sport in the State of Michigan, and yes, this INCLUDES trail maintenance..The fact that the DNR is part of the State of Michigan does NOT mean that trail maintenance is paid by State funding.
There is ABSOLUTELY no question in my mind now that you are a very close relative of BlackBalled..I've never seen two guys that can ''Twisssttttt'' a discussion around Sooooo much in my life...
Im glad your not a member of our club,we only pick apples from ripe tree's.

LOL, your replies get more funny as time goes on. I see it has gone from please come join us at your club to what you post now.
again I am not related to your friend blackballed. blackballed was your friend at some point. So you started the twisting there guy, not me, you started it with the i75/snowplowing and the branches, now its one word in my whole post you have trouble with. What is it next? So its is just by chance that the vp of your club posted over here?
I'm still not sure which it is, now you post it is your club, so now you are a member of it?
So now you claim the DNR is not an agency of the State of MI? I never posted what you are saying, I never posted the stuff you do
posted by mud:
trail maintenance is paid by State funding
You brought this on yourself, your "calling me out" statement, your other twisting what I posted, when all I was doing was asking you about the things you post you said you knew the answers too, you seem to have a problem. Your replying to a single word or phrase I posted instead of the whole post. I did not twist anything you posted, I did not call you out, I did not do "nit-picking", I did not call you any names. I'm sorry you did not like what I posted. I'm sorry.
Again I'm sorry you do not like what I post and I'm sorry if your feelings got hurt. I've been saying sorry to you, but you do not seem to like anything, is this how you treat everyone?
mr mud, i never called you any names, and who has started the name calling now?
I'm sorry, but what does your claiming I called you names (which I never did), have to do with what you did today?
For that matter what does any of your post have to do with anything discussed so far?
Lets get this back on atv discussions and less on your personal attacks and bashing me mr mud. What do you think? Like TIC posted "WE ARE ALL ON THIS WEB SITE FOR ONE REASON. WE ALL HAVE THE SAME LOVE FOR OUR ATV'S. remember that."

I dont have any idea why Woody laid down a post in here for..I can GAUREENTEE you that I did not put him up to it though. Its an OPEN forum and he is a member,so I think that gives him the priviledge to read and respond as he chooses. Now I see that our ORV Chairperson has ALSO opened up a post in these forums..I think whats happening here is there are a few Michigan readers who are getting real tired of reading the inaccurate BS that is coming from some posts and they just may want to clearify a few things.
FYI,I am a member of over 8 differant ORV forums, and NOBODY has a hard time understanding me and nobody tries to manipulate my posts the way you and BB do.Im getting real tired of responding to your sick posts and wont be answering your childish responses ---my dads car is faster than your dads car''ect ect ect---------
Good luck in your riding ventures. Now if I could be so suggestive,I would recommend that you and BB start up your own ATV club. What would you guys call it?

Hey guy, it sure is your club's vp right to post in a public forum, just that was his 1st post in this thread.
And it sure looks like something else is going on over here.
I did not post anything inactuate. I was just asking you about the things you posted.
You are the one that started the name calling, and twisting anything I posted. Okay so you are in 8 ORV forums, what does that have to do with this? I never posted anything of the sort like your "---my dads car is faster than your dads car'ect ect ect---------". And you mud are the one who is doing the manipulating and the such.
Why are you doing this mud? I am not sure why, I keep asking you.
You keep coming back with more attacks and twisting what I posted before over and over and over again. If anything I'm not sure why you did it now, I've posted I was sorry if I hurt your feelings. All I can post is that I'm again sorry mr. mud.
Mr Mud, what makes my posts sick, please give complete examples with your reasons why. What makes my saying I'm sorry childish? What makes me aksing you why you started calling me names childish? These are not childish questions mr. mud, I just want to know why.
Why would I need to start a orv club (aren't there enough already)?
I will request one thing of you muddy4life, please stop calling me names, twisting what I post, saying I posted things I never did, and the attacks. Please just stop it. Thank you.

It's pretty hard to get your 'answers' across....when club leadership has arrogantly felt (for going on 7 years now) that they have absolutely no responsibility to answer even the simplest of questions in the first place!
I mean, c'mon guys! ....the orv community gave you a HUGE break when we were all forced to witness your 'club' saunter away from your last leader with your tails between your legs....why would you use the same "by gosh, we'll just call everybody a bastard" strategy here again...and especially when attempting to join people already recently caught with their hand in the cookie jar?
Are you guys a glutton for punishment?
"....He seem to think everyone is out to do him in or something, when in fact they quite listening a long time ago...."
Huh?
"...And that super secrert MMRC that he talkes about? Well thats somthing that was started by Dick to have all the club officers meet to figure out what every one wants before the orv board meeting.[kind of getting all of our ducks in a row you might say] to help prevent all the bitch sessions that go on at the board meetings...."
All the people of Michigan know about this "MMRC"... is that 'Dick' refuses to talk about these guys, what they do or even who they are after repeated formal requests to do so....while the rest of these guys who never wanted to get 'involved' in orv politics....run around claiming that they "represent" twenty two ***thousand*** orv enthusiasts here in Michigan!!!.
Send your average citizen to the orv update plan commentary period meeting seeking group commentary....'Dick' rudely shouts across the room that this MMRC has "'maybe has nothing to say" about the single most important event in Michigan orv history when asked....
...file an FOIA request to determine what this "all-important" group actually believes in with regard to the (truly) important orv update plan....we are told that there was nothing submitted by this group, nothing on file.... and that the DNR at that time..... had never even so much as heard of these guys!

So much for your open representation and so much for trusting any one of them with the future of our orv system (I thought discussing trail issues was a simple "man-to-man" thing...boy was "I" mistaken!!!!!.
We questioned the 'first' guy who sat on this board with the exact same queries I threw at him when he didn't like being asked simple questions 7 years ago in the "we'll just call you a bastard and kick you out" days...with no luck.
I then went to the founder of this group you can't even Google search on the web...with these same simple questions?
Nothing but 'stall' statements, attempts to change the subject at hand and an utter and complete denial of any and all requests to repeat even 'that' disclosed 'public' position to ANYONE!!!.
Lovely people, huh? (just don't ever volunteer to do trail maintenance with 'em....I've been threatened twice...before I could even get the truck packed!).

MOTO,
your wasting your time trying to get your point across with me.I forgot more about this sport than what 85% of todays users [like you] THINK they know about the sport. There is FAR more to the sport of ORVing in the State of Michigan than going to some freaking DNR website and copy/paste things to prove a point that you failed miserable in doing. There are MANY issues you dont know or understand but yet you still try and prove your point to folks that been involved in this sport for probably more years than you've been born.
Im all done talking about this subject any further as I have nothing to prove to you or anybody else in this State as to my value/worth to our sport.
It is very obvious that we are both beating a dead horse here and and quite frankly,I have far more important things to do with my time, and im sure you do too.
Go outside, its nice and warm today.Take a refreshing long ride on your ATV if you are able to.When you get back, you'll feel SO much more relaxed----Go ahead, you deserve a good ride.
