usfs stickers

Is it possible to purchase a usfs approved spark arrestor sticker anywhere? If not, does anyone have a picture of one? I plan on making a trip in the near future to a usfs approved riding area. My vehicles are legal, but the approved stamp/sticker has been scratched off, painted over, polished, etc, etc.

I have a 02 raptor with fmf exhaust w/spark arrestor tip (purchased seperately), and a 99 scrambler 500 with stock exhaust (which dealer said is usfs legal) and neither have stickers or stampings. I have a few other toys too, but these are the two I'm concerned about.

On U.S. Forest Service and Bureau of Land Management lands your "approved" spark arrestor must be "stamped" (no decals) with: 1. Spark arrestor type ( i.e. screen or turbine) 2. Model number. The stamped "USDA or U.S.F.S. Approval," are secondary, but not required by U.S. F.S. or BLM. Take a flashlight look inside your pipe does it have a screen or turbine in the center (not to be confuse with silencer screening or packing on the internal sides). Also run a narrow rod through center of the pipe. Does the rod keep going, beyond just 3 to 4 inches? If so, no spark arrestor inside. Methods above is how the rangers check your pipe. Also that is the same method is done by the tech checks at the races.
Check your owners manual, it states if it is approved spark arrester and how to clean it. Almost all stock ATVs sold in USA come with a spark arrestor, even performance models. It's after market pipes that aren't always spark arresters. The USFS Research Station in San Dimas, California tests and approves all spark arrestors in the USA. Contact them or nearest USFS office for further info.
Side note, performance motocross bikes, such as YZFs, CRFs, RMs, YZs, CRs, etc., do not come with stock spark arresters. Their are a lot of after market fixes that go on pipes to make them spark arresters, such as Sparkies and Pro Moto Billet without having to buy a whole new pipe.

On an FMF spark arrestor, FMF puts the "USFS Approved Spark Arrestor" stamp on the right side, when look from the exhaust / exit end. If you don't find any stamps, better get documentation from FMF, stating it's an USFS Approved Spark Arrestor or enjoy a large ticket from the forest/park rangers.
Pro Moto Billet makes great after market "USFS Approved Spark Arrestors" that attachs to your existing high performance pipe.
If you cannot find a spark arrestor from Pro Moto Billet, try a "Sparky Spark Arrestor" they make after market for almost any high performance pipes.
I believe if you run the original pipe on ATVs, they all come standard with a spark arrestor. High performance motorcycles, such as YZ, YZF, CR, CRF, RM, KX, etc., do not come standard with a spark arrestor.
