what do police do when seeing you on the road??

If you go, park at the boat landing, I've parked in the far end of the church parking lot, didn't seem like a problem. When you cross the road the trail goes left and right, the right trail that goes across a field is the one you wanna take, the left goes out to a farm and seems to end. When you get down to the powerlines on the right trail, go down them, you can go off to Tobeys store, China Four Seasons clubhouse, or one other gas station. You can putt around and explore for hours.

IN MAINE we can ride 500 Yards to get on a tail if you gotta cross a culvert, bridge etc. However most of our clubs get town permission to use roads as access routes. The road my atv camp is on,our club got the selectman to open it up to atvs. Its now legal,we have a speedlimit.Courtesy to homeowners will keep it open.Riding on lawns going fast ,creating tooo much dust, horseplay will close it.

Im in north central Missouri, I dont know about state laws never looked them up, but I know we can ride in our town if you have a flag, are 16 or over, and have a city permit. Dont even require a helmet for some reason... We can ride gravel and dirt all day long with no worries. And any secondary street, just cant ride highways or interstates of course.
When I see a cop in town I just wave and they wave back, I have never even been stopped in town. People here ride thier quads to work and I would too if I didnt have so much dusty gravel to ride and have to wear a shirt/tie.

The DUI thing is the same just about everywhere. The only way you will not get a DUI while on the road is if you are considered a pedestrian (like if you are in a powered wheelchair.) Bicycles/mopeds/etc are NOT considered pedestrians. One guy in Germany actually got stopped while drunk in his wheelchair and going down the middle of a highway. All they could do there was put him in the drunk tank overnight. haha
Don't drink and drive ANYTHING! Life is not a video game. We have basically no laws in SC on ATVs, but I'm really unclear about some of the local laws. They are conflicting and vague. I hope to get to the library soon and read the ATV laws again and see what exactly the rules are. Best I can understand, you can't have an ATV on any road, at any time, legally.

In Wisconsin, all Motorized Vehicles are subject to OWI. If it does not have a motor, such as a bicycle or canoe, you cannot get an OWI, but you can get a "public drunkenness".

in nebraska the last time i rode my quad on a gravel road,(near a populated area) the fuzz pulled me and my friend over gave us a ticket and basically made us push them home. but in rural nebraska where there cops just dont give a damn, you can basically ride where ever you want just so long as your not pissing anyone off.

i live in rural Ohio...I have been pulled over once by a county sherriff, but didn't get a ticket (i think he just wanted to look at my new Raptor lol) I pass cops all the time on the road and often they just give me a wave. There is little traffic on my road and riding between relatives/friends houses usually is OK.

I live in Tucson, AZ and on Speedway(a big drag racing street for rice burners) my buddy and I, with identical LTR's got pulled over at 76 mph. We didn't have insurance, registration, or license plate lights and he let us go scott free.
Also, I like to do a lot of wheelies and my license plate is jacked up. I got pulled over for glancing over my shoulder "too many times" after the sheriff drove by and he pulled me over "because my license plate was scratched" but I never received a ticket(Knock on wood). So they are usually really cool, if you are.
