Default Riding area at 23rd Street and Sooner shut down

My wife and I just purchased two atv's and enjoyed going to the river at the corner of 23rd St and Sooner road in Oklahoma City.

Today, I decided to take a quit ride there and was surprised to find that the city council has officially posted a no motorized vehicles sign. The City Council has blocked a free riding area in Oklahoma City on the North Canadian River!!!

The police stopped me and took my information to show that I had been properly notified.

It is up to everyone interested in riding that they contact their city council and let them know that we want to ride there.

It is only one city council woman who voted to ban riding on the canadian river. We need to get together and let the council know that we want the are opened back up to riding.

The police said they thought it was a bad idea to close down the area since they've seen multiple families riding there and that the area remains mostly clean with few problems.
