Well Obama now says that the recession is about over and everything is just wonderful. It has to be because of the 800 billion $ stimulus bill has worked! My question is, do you think It's over and if so what should the government do with the 92% of the stimulus money that hasn't been used yet? That's right it's been about six months since the bill passed and they have only used 8% of the taxpayers money so far (thank god!) Most of the 8% has been used in democratic areas on pork barrel projects and has created very few jobs IMO.
Maybe they could return the other 92% back to the taxpayers and create a real stimulus!? I doubt if that will happen! Or maybe they could pay down the national debt? No that would be using borrowed money to pay on a loan.... that won't work!!LOL. But maybe to Obama it would! LOL!
I know,.... we'll use it to pay for illegal alien's health care costs! But only if they register as democrats and vote in the next election! Oh yea, they can't vote because they're illegals! Well maybe we can find a way around that too!
Wake up folks and take a look around. Is it really over yet? I think NOT!

It must be over since he and his family can go on yet another vacation next month. This time in Martha's Vineyard. But he is concerned about us, making sure his vacation spot doesn't cost over $50.000.00 a week. Thanks Barrack for helping stimulate the economy you saved single handedly.

Well the Cash for Clunkers program almost worked, until the website crashed and they ran out of money!
What..? Ran out of money!? LOL! What about the $800 or so BILLION$ that is supposed to be used to stimulate the economy?!! It seems to me like this program is just what the auto industry needed, as well as the folks that needed a new car or pickup!
How about a Cash for Homes program? Or a Cash for B or Better students? Or a Cash for Home improvements Program?
I'm sure there are hundreds of ideas the govt. could utilize to get cash flowing and really STIMULATE the economy! Where is the real leadership in our country? It seems like all they are really interested in is lining their pockets with greenbacks, or consolidating POWER to control others!
IMO almost all of them are BS..ing crooks that need to be kicked out on their a$$es!

 

Naaa, The Cash for Clunkers program is way too narrowly focused. We need a program that will give ALL Americans a little extra money to spend as they please. If that means they use it to pay off debts or use it to buy a bag of grocery's it doesn't matter, the cash will be moving!
If you wanted the money to stay in the U.S.A., you could mandate that it be used on an American owned product or service!
I know,... it's a radical idea, but what the he!! it's really OUR money!

 

Hasn't worked up our way. Although I did see a road project up in NH that claimed to be using the funds. Knowing NH they probably already had the money for the project but took the funds for free.

 

They had one of the dealers down here talking about the program. They said it generated about one extra weeks worth of sales.

I still don't understand how giving someone a car payment that they didn't have before is really going to help them.

Oh well, giving loans on houses to people who couldn't afford them seemed to work out ok, didn't it?
