Firing Squad
#1
What do you guys think of this? The guy's been on death row for 25 years. I say grant him is last wish. Kind of weird though, imagining yourself being faced with making a decision like that. I guess firing squad would be a quicker way to go. The old west mentality lives on. Not sure if they blindfold the guy, or make him stare down the barrels. I think the blindfolds are more for the guys pulling the trigger than the receiver. Wonder who they get to line up and blast the dude.....

Personally, I'd rather go to a state that takes a murderer and metes out the ultimate justice that will keep him from ever doing it again. Opposed to a state like Mass. that has had a pretty bad record of keeping criminals behind bars. I can't remember the names. One, I think, was Willie Horton who was a murderer that was released and went on to murder again. There have been several cases like this. At least keep them behind bars.
